What are your minimum hire periods?

At Kawana Equipment Hire we offer full and half day equipment hire options. A half day equates to 5 hours of hire, whilst a full day is a 24 hour period. If you are hiring equipment over the weekend we have a one day charge, with Friday pick-up after 3pm and return before 9am Monday morning.

How do I pay for my equipment hire?

At Kawana Equipment Hire we generally take payment for all equipment at the time it is hired. However we can also take payment over the phone for deliveries.

Do you require a security deposit?

Yes, for the hire of our excavators. A security deposit of $500 will be taken at the time of hire for this piece of equipment.

Do you provide Refunds?

Do you provide training on how to use equipment?

Our team are fully versed in the basic operation of all our hire equipment. At the time of hire our qualified mechanic will give you an overview of how to operate the equipment you are hiring and answer any questions you may have.  

Do I pick up my hire equipment or will you deliver it?

We provide the option of equipment delivery or collection. Delivery of hire equipment attracts an additional charge, however rates are very reasonable.

Do you provide a long term hire option?

Yes. At Kawana Equipment Hire all weekly equipment hires are charged at four times the daily hire rate. Discounts can be negotiated for longer term hire.  

Do you operate the hire equipment?

No, our team do not operate the equipment. However we do provide guidance on how to use the equipment safely and effectively.

What locations do you deliver to?

At Kawana Equipment Hire we deliver all across the Sunshine Coast. Areas for equipment hire delivery include Warana, Buddina, Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Mountain Creek, Sippy Downs, Palmview, Birtinya, Wurtulla, Currimundi, Meridan Plains, Palm View, Caloundra, Kings Beach, Shelley Beach, Pelican Waters, Golden Beach, Little Mountain, Moffat Beach, Dicky Beach, Battery Hill, Aroona, Coochin Creek, Birtinya, Bokarina, Parrearra and Minyama.

Are you open on the weekend?

Yes, we are open every Saturday from 7am to 12pm. We are closed on Sundays.
